Uniforms are worn at Notre Dame Academy to promote a sense of community and belonging. Our uniform policy helps students remember that they are all part of God’s family and are valued members of a remarkable community. Collectively, the uniform policy helps to create our learning culture, laying the foundation for students to grow intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and physically. It is one of many tools at NDA that will help students eventually discover and develop their God-given gifts, talents and purpose in life. All students in grades Kindergarten through eighth grade are required to wear uniforms during the school day.
For sake of family convenience and flexibility, NDA uses two uniform vendors. Click on links to visit Notre Dame Academy-specific sites and/or to purchase items:
All uniform pieces (with the exception of socks, tights and shoes) must be purchased from one of these vendors. Certain items, as noted in the Uniform Policy Summary and Specifications document, are available only through Lands’ End.
In addition to our “standard dress” and “formal dress” policies, we will periodically offer “non-uniform days.” We ask for your support and discretion in assisting your children when selecting their daily dress attire on these days as well as your overall commitment to and support for NDA’s uniform policy.
Shorts season runs the entire month of April through the entire month of October each year. As has been the policy, legs must remain covered by both boys and girls during the remaining months of the year.
