Notre Dame Academy fosters a culture that promotes and supports an active community. We believe an active community is essential to providing the supportive and nurturing environment our students and families need.
Many events occur throughout the school year that bring students and their families together within the Parish faith and school communities. Some events are for fundraising purposes and others are simply for fellowship and fun! Some of our events include:
Prior to the first week of school, families and staff join together in a Back-to-School Night. Students bring their school supplies, get acquainted with their classroom, play games and enjoy refreshments. Not only is it fun for returning families to see each other after the long summer break, new families get a chance to meet teachers and their children's future classmates and friends.
Each fall we host our largest fundraising and social event of the year — Grand Beginnings. Parents and parishioners attend an adults-only evening out and enjoy entertainment, dinner, live and silent auctions, a chance to win prizes, and much more. Proceeds support the school’s operating budget, meet special scholastic needs and continue to enhance Notre Dame Academy educational opportunities.
The whole family can attend this fun social event with great food, raffles, and bingo! Blizzard Bingo coincides with Catholic Schools Week celebrating our school and the gift of Catholic education.
Marathon for Non-Public Education
Marathon is our student-led, spring fundraiser, essential to keeping our budget on track as we finish out the school year. The Marathon is a fun and purposeful activity where students are invited to walk or run a prescribed route at the NDA campus earning sponsorship and support based on donations.
