Jestin Stoffel

Technology

Mr. Stoffel comes to Notre Dame Academy from a 20+ year career as a software developer in a wide range of fields and industries. Since 2020, he has been a volunteer teacher of computer programming at the high school level and a volunteer teacher/assistant for STEM at the grade school level. He has a deep passion for technology education and is dedicated to preparing the next generation for the technological possibilities and challenges of the future. Mr. Stoffel enjoys going on bike rides with his wife and two daughters, taking his dogs for walks, and creating things using his variety of technical skills. He can also be found on the amateur radio bands as KF0VZY.

Kelly Zchokke

Kindergarten

Ms. Kelly Zschokke is excited to be teaching kindergarten at Notre Dame Academy! She graduated in 2025 from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. This will be her second year teaching. She previously taught third grade at another school in the Archdiocese. Outside of school, she loves to read and spend time with her family. She looks forward to meeting all of the students and families this fall!

Dana Distad

Phoenix School Counselor

Dana Distad is excited to be the School Counselor at NDA this year. Dana has an M.A. in both Clinical and School Counseling and has always enjoyed working with students of all ages. Dana believes in strong values, meaningful relationships, and building practical skills that children can carry with them as they grow. Together, we can practice kindness, courage, and problem-solving, and remember that we can do hard things—and we don’t have to do them alone.

Kari Marsh

Incoming Principal

Mrs. Marsh grew up in Fargo, ND and earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a Math Minor from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She continued her education at St. Paul School of Divinity at the University of St. Thomas and earned a Certificate in Catholic School Leadership and a Masters of Arts in Pastoral Leadership. She has worked in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis for over 30 years teaching and most recently being a principal. 

She and her husband live in Brooklyn Park with their two dogs. They have four adult children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and doing a little quilting. She also sings in the choir for her home parish of St. Gerard Majella.

Kate Vig

Fourth Grade

Mrs. Vig is excited to join the NDA community and relocate from Bismarck, ND. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of North Dakota and brings 23 years of teaching experience to NDA. For 14 years, Mrs. Vig taught fourth and fifth grade before transitioning to seventh-grade Communications, where she has spent the past nine years. She takes pride in fostering strong, meaningful relationships with her students and their families and creating a supportive classroom environment where students feel valued. Outside of school, Mrs. Vig enjoys spending time outdoors, especially walking, and traveling to watch her three children compete in athletics.

Maria Dean

Third Grade

Ms. Dean graduated from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University with a degree in Education and is currently pursuing her master's degree at Saint Mary's University. She is excited to be part of the Notre Dame Academy community and looks forward to teaching Third Grade. Ms. Dean enjoys working with children and strives to create a safe, caring, and engaging classroom where every student can learn, grow, and build confidence. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, being outdoors, and trying new activities.

Katie Leider

Preschool Assistant

Ms. Katie Leider is very excited to be a part of the NDA Discovery Center team. She has been an educator for over 25 years and has an Early Childhood Education degree from UW-Stout. In her free time she enjoys fishing, camping, painting with acrylics, traveling, thrill seeking and spending time with her friends and family.

Bridget Jordahl

Administrative Assistant

Ms. Bridget Jordahl joined the NDA team in January of 2026. Her two boys have attended NDA for the past few years, so she is excited to see them every day! Prior to joining NDA, Bridget worked in management and sales roles in the staffing/recruiting industry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Spanish from St. Cloud State University. Bridget is looking forward to bringing her business and relationship- building experience to the NDA community.
