What is Lions Lair?

Lions Lair is Notre Dame Academy’s before & after school and summer camp program. It is available to all students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Lions Lair strives to provide a safe and fun environment for all students who need care outside of the normal school day.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in daily activities including homework help, creative projects, organized group games and free play. In Lions Lair, students will spend time in the school cafeteria, gymnasium and outside on the playground. An afternoon snack will be provided for students attending after school.

Our Lions Lair hours include before school: 7:30 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. After school: 3:55 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. as well as on select non-school days from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The non-school day program does require registering in advance. Space is limited.

Cost of Lions Lair

There is an annual registration fee (per family) of $45 to attend Lions Lair. We charge $9 per time block, per student on regular school days. On non-school days, the fee is $60 per student, per day. For example, if a student is dropped off in the morning at 8:15 a.m. and picked up in the afternoon at 5:30 p.m., they will be marked as being present for three time blocks and will be billed ($9 x 3 hours) $27 for that day. Fees are calculated monthly and charged the following month to your TADS account.

Register for Lions Lair

Simply complete the registration google form to apply for Lions Lair. Once registered, you will begin receiving Lions Lair email updates. You may register your student for Lions Lair at any time during the school year. Sign-ups for non-school days will be sent out to registered families in advance of each date offered throughout the school year to give them first priority, as space is limited.

Notre Dame Academy Summer Camp

NDA Summer Camp is Notre Dame Academy’s summer program for NDA students only entering grades 1 through 8. Students will participate in activities related to each weekly theme incorporating art, STEM, writing & language arts, music, theater, and even cooking! We strive to provide a safe, fun, and educational environment for all participants.

Summer camp is offered daily Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. beginning in early June and ending in mid-August. Camp will be closed the week of IHM’s Totus Tuus camp and a few days around the July 4th holiday.

For Summer 2024, families will be charged a $45 registration fee and then $60 per student, per day to attend. Registration and camp fees will be billed to your TADS account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Unregistered students may attend Lions Lair before and after school as needed but will be charged a drop-in fee of $12 per time block. Unregistered students may not attend Lions Lair on non-school days and will not receive Lions Lair email updates during the school year.

Lions Lair is open on select non-school days from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Students will be charged $60 for each non-school day they attend and will need to bring a cold lunch from home.

What will students do on non-school days? On non-school days at Lions Lair, students will enjoy themed activities related to the holiday or season. Projects may involve arts & crafts, STEM, cooking, music, dance, language arts & writing and more! Students will also have the opportunity to play outside, in the school gym, and to visit the school library. On select days, field trips may also be offered. Please note, field trips may require an additional fee.
