Hallie Keenan is the Kindergarten teacher at Notre Dame Academy. Ms. Keenan earned her Masters in Education from St. Catherine's University and is also certified Literacy Coach through Groves Learning Organization. She strives to create a hands-on, active environment for her students to succeed and grow. Through the use of STEM and other engaging activities, Ms. Keenan helps students to become excited learners and problem solvers. Ms. Kelly Zschokke is excited to be teaching kindergarten at Notre Dame Academy! She graduated in 2025 from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. This will be her second year teaching. She previously taught third grade at another school in the Archdiocese. Outside of school, she loves to read and spend time with her family. She looks forward to meeting all of the students and families this fall!
Mrs. Magnuson is excited to be a part of the NDA community. In the classroom she values the unique personality of each child. She utilizes the gifts of each child and nurtures growth through challenge and support. She earned her M.A. in K-5 Reading Endorsement from St. Thomas University and has been a Catholic School teacher since 2019. Ms. Magnuson loves to help every child discover Jesus’s presence in their lives. In her free time she enjoys walking, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Tschida is excited to be teaching at Notre Dame Academy. She earned her M.A. Education from St. Scholastica University and has been working in Catholic schools ever since. It is her passion to instill a love of learning in students and help them develop a desire to become life long learners. In her free time she enjoys being with family and friends, attending her children’s sporting events, swimming, going for walks with her dogs, biking, reading, and traveling.
Ms. Dean graduated from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University with a degree in Education and is currently pursuing her master's degree at Saint Mary's University. She is excited to be part of the Notre Dame Academy community and looks forward to teaching Third Grade. Ms. Dean enjoys working with children and strives to create a safe, caring, and engaging classroom where every student can learn, grow, and build confidence. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, being outdoors, and trying new activities.
Mr. Weeres loves being the fourth grade teacher at NDA. He joined the downstairs hallway in 2018, and started his Catholic school career in 2014 after earning his B.S. in Education from Concordia University. One of his classroom highlights is when he teaches his students how to tie flies and shares his love for fishing. When Mr. Weeres is not teaching, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Mrs. Vig is excited to join the NDA community and relocate from Bismarck, ND. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of North Dakota and brings 23 years of teaching experience to NDA. For 14 years, Mrs. Vig taught fourth and fifth grade before transitioning to seventh-grade Communications, where she has spent the past nine years. She takes pride in fostering strong, meaningful relationships with her students and their families and creating a supportive classroom environment where students feel valued. Outside of school, Mrs. Vig enjoys spending time outdoors, especially walking, and traveling to watch her three children compete in athletics.
Mrs. Janel Dysart began her teaching career in 2000 as an Elementary Music Specialist. She moved to our school community in 2004 and has been teaching 5th grade ever since. Mrs. Dysart earned her Masters of Education from St. Catherine's University. Her favorite class activity is Literature Circles and she's known for her talent show videos. She loves coming up with new and creative projects for her students, and enjoys incorporating technology whenever she can. Mrs. Dysart enjoys music, superheroes, and spending time with her family.
