Dear Notre Dame Academy Community,

Earlier this month, we shared the joyful news that Notre Dame Academy had successfully hired its next school leader. With the deepest joy, we are now excited to share that Kari Marsh has accepted the position of Principal at Notre Dame Academy. Kari will begin serving as Principal on July 1, 2026.

With more than three decades dedicated to Catholic education—including 25 years in the classroom and the past seven in school leadership—Kari brings a deep well of experience, faith-filled leadership, and a lifelong commitment to forming students in both mind and heart. She currently serves as Principal of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic School, where she has strengthened Catholic identity, led curriculum development, and fostered a culture of collaboration among faculty, families, and parish leadership. Kari holds a Master of Arts in Pastoral Leadership and completed the Institute for Catholic School Leadership, equipping her to lead with both spiritual depth and academic vision.

Kari is widely recognized for her ability to build strong, joyful school communities rooted in faith, academic excellence, and partnership with families. Her gifts in mentoring teachers, cultivating a Christ-centered culture, and leading with clarity and compassion align beautifully with Notre Dame Academy’s mission to provide an inclusive, innovative, and spiritually rich learning environment. As NDA enters this next blessed chapter, Kari’s leadership will help further strengthen its vibrant community, ensuring that students continue to grow in knowledge, virtue, and their relationship with Christ.

This moment is a beautiful fruit of the many prayers, conversations, and careful discernment that have taken place over these past months. We are especially grateful to our search committee for their dedication and thoughtful work, and to all of you who have supported this process through your prayers and encouragement. Your love for our school and its mission has been profoundly evident and so deeply felt.

We ask that you continue to keep Kari in your prayers during this time of transition. We cannot wait to begin this next chapter together.

With much gratitude,

Fr. John J. Bauer, Canonical Administrator & Co-Chair of the Search Committee
Greg Schumacher, Chair of the Board & Co-Chair of the Search Committee
